Take the time for a BATH

Posted by Christina Richards on

I brought a house with a big bath tub.  The tub was not on my list of must haves in buying the home.  In fact, I had wished that the tub was not there.   It had been over a year and I never used it.  But, then a customer asked if I make Bath Teas.  I was intrigued, and started researching.  I put together a couple of samples.

Since I test everything before I sell, it was time for me to take a bath.  I set the mood and lit candles.  Well, maybe not real candles, since I do not have any.  I turned on my battery operated tea lights!  I started filling the tub (this did take a while), added one of my Bath Teas and left the room for a few minutes.  When I came back the bathroom was filled with aroma.  Since I love natural scents I was already in love.

I turned off the lights and got in the tub.  I have to admit that at first I was not enjoying it.  I keep thinking of the things that I need to do.  Laundry, dishes, make soap, vacuum, do bills…  But, I wanted to give this a chance.  I used the muslin bag like a washcloth and then I put my head back and closed my eyes.  I just relaxed.   I started thinking that I can get used to this.  The Bath Tea I was testing was Indulge.  The lavender truly does have a calming effect.

I have taken several baths since that first one – in the name of testing!  I can now say I love them.  You just have to make the time.  I take about 10-15 minutes, but one of my testers says that she relaxes for about 30 minutes.

I have 5 varieties, but bet you will fall in love with all of them.
